CLASSES SO FUN, IT'S HARD TO CALL THEM CLASSES!
When I took my own Childbirth Ed class in 2003 (yes, back when the women just squatted outside their caves!) my hubby and I could barely keep our eyes open. When it came time to have the baby, all I could remember from class was that my body was supposed to change from a ketchup bottle to a mayo jar...whatever THAT meant!
As I lay in my hospital bed stuck to the ceiling desperately trying to remember WHAT that woman had said to help with the contractions before I got my epidural, I realized that Brian and I should have spent less time giggling over the “hee-hee-hoo!” and more time absorbing what the heck to do to handle what was happening to my body.
Years later I became a Certified Childbirth Educator and Doula, and knew there had to be a better way to get new mommies and daddies educated in a fun, interactive way that would stick with them on D-day… hence the conception of Baby Love Birth Services.
We have a collection of certified Childbirth Educators and Doulas who are of the same mindset; we know the traditional way, but we teach the way it REALLY is...Funny; Intense; Life Changing.
